Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Only got a 2:2 in my first year at uni; at a disadvantage for big four internships??

I've just finished my first year at uni and only achieved a 2:2 which I was pretty disappointed with. I know for a fact that I can do better and my first year doesn't count towards my final grade but I was wondering if any of the big four actually look at first year grades and if it will put me at a disadvantage when applying for summer internships in 2019?? I'm looking at applying for Audit. All of my other academics have been strong and this is the only real blip I've had. Thanks !

Hey! My friend had a similar situation last year but she ended up getting something that she really enjoys, so I'm sure you'll be fine. There are still many companies that you could work for, just keep applying cause you never know. Also, maybe you can check out the website Magnet.me - it's perfect for student/graduate jobs and matches you with opportunities that suit your profile. Really helps!
