Mature students

How are mature students looked at by the younger students?

I don't think anyone cares. I am twice the age of most of the undergrads and I don't party with them and socialise with people closer to my own age, but group work and hanging out between lectures isn't an issue.

I'm around ten years older than most of my course mates, we get on fine. The age thing genuinely doesn't make a difference. I've been to the pub a few times with them, sit with them in lectures
I'm 70. Just graduated. It was a blast and best time of my life. I was student rep right through. I have children in their 30s and 40s the same age as the mature students and grandchildren in tbeir late teens and 20s same as the younger students. Mature students are respected both by fellow students and by lecturers because they work hard.
