What should I wear to my John Lewis interview for a seasonal selling positions. I’m male and 16

A white shirt, smart trousers, black polished shoes and a blazer. A tie too would be nice.

Would a dark blue, lightly chequered suit be suitable or is that too formal, should I stick to tight black trousers with a shirt, tie

Both would be perfectly acceptable (I work at JL) but id say go smart! You'll stand out for a good reason

Yoo, good luck buddy, my go to at interviews is All Black Converse High-Tops (They're different from generic Converse and look smart), black jeans, a white shirt and if you want, maybe a tie, also I have a Waitrose group interview coming up. I know its good to set a good example, but Smart Casual is becoming very acceptable now.
