No i couldn't do it, we got a 3 bed house for 50k more than that, and can't see myself moving out unless our health stopped us living here.

I guess the choice facing young people in the future:

If you want to own a house you’ll have to accept a smaller one

Or just accept you will rent and never own

These are far-fetched assumptions but with average deposits now over £33k - smaller homes offer opportunity to buy at a more achievable deposit level

There's a lot of houses that size near me - people must have been shorter in the good old days, I'd need to duck to get through the front door.

this one's end terrace - strong glass to brick ratio.
prolly get lots of light through those windows on two sides... bet it costs a packet to heat tho'
