International Human Rights MA: University of Law, Birckbeck, Oxford Brookes

Hi

I'm deciding between the three Universities above (University of Law, Birckbeck or Oxford Brookes) to study International Human Rights MA. Has anyone studied this before at any of these Universities? What are the better options?

I'm living in London so the location of Birckbeck or UoL would be better but I done my undergrad at Oxford Brookes so I know the University well and would be willing to travel there a couple of days a week for the lectures. I am planning to study part-time.

Any advise or information on any of the Universities would be helpful. Thanks

I am waiting to hear back from SOAS but I don't think I will get accepted because I got a 2:2 for my undergrad which is why I've applied for ones that aren't really the top Universities. Online reviews for Birkbeck are varied, some really good and others really bad. Brookes I know is okay because I've been before and UoL I don't know anyone who has been but it seems good to transfer into Law.

For postgrad, the advice is always to decide based on research specialism. Which one has the most established research group, academics and which offers the modules that are most likely to interest you.
