EPQ essay structure help!

I am about 3000 words in to my 5000 word essay for my EPQ. I was wondering if anyone knew how much of this should be my own opinion and how much should be sources? At the moment it feels like the majority of what I've written is just quoting other people.

Also, what's the best way to cite data that I've collected in my survey?

I completed mine recently, and most of my essay was source based. I used the info from the sources to form arguments, and backed these up.
Most of my essay was a series of developed arguments based on the sources, and the sections for the different lines of argument were fairly equal.
As above, my opinion on the matter was only in the conclusion, were I picked a couple of the strongest points for the side I supported, and argued why they were the most important.
