English Literature Coursework A-level

i'm doing a-level English and for coursework we have to pick two books to compare and comprise a question on.
i have chosen The bloody chambers but i don't know what to compare it to
can anyone help?

Depends what you want to compare - if you want to compare it to something else gothic then perhaps Frankenstein or Dracula?

but i dont know what the focus could be

Ahh interesting, haven’t read it myself! Perhaps presentation of a certain theme - women in gothic literature? Isolated protagonists?

I do The Bloody Chamber for A-level literature. We’re comparing it with Dracula, which I think is really good to compare with TBC
