Part time study help

Hello again,
Has anyone done a part time course at uni? Can you bring help me with how many hours of study/time in uni/etc is needed? Is this maybe more suitable to a busy mum with 3 kids?!

Thanks

Basically a bit more than the full-time course, pro rata. So most full-time courses will say they expect 30 or 36 hours of study per week, for a year long course. If you are doing the course part-time over two years, then you need to work on 15-18 hours per week, plus a couple of hours more for the time it takes you to get back into where you were before you last stopped. You can't under-estimate that, it's one of the most difficult things to manage. You can spend 3 hours thinking you are studying, but if the family are interrupting you every 20 minutes, you might only do the equivalent of about 40 minutes of decent study.
