Gap Year Ideas + Deferment Help
Hi, I'm 17, English and shall soon finish my OIB schooling in France.
I was originally looking to apply to Glasgow, LSE, Durham, Strathclyde or Edinburgh for a course in Politics but have recently come to a different decision :
I would like to take a gap year out with my girlfriend volunteering for ecological or conservation projects (preferably in a high enough English speaking country so that she may improve her English), in order to gain valuable experience and to enhance future my political studies, therefore planning on going to Uni in 2021.
Should I apply for a deferred entry or apply as normal then talk to them about deferring once I have submitted my application and/or have an offer ?
Does anyone know of any NGO's, associations, organisations, or something similar preferably in Scandinavia or Scotland/Ireland that would offer cheap enough environmental volunteering opportunities ?
