Confidence in a working environment

So recently started working at a pharmacy and i am hoping to start an apprenticeship with the pharmacy.

I had a progress review today and was told that i need to increase my confidence and open up before i start the apprenticeship otherwise they wont be able to take me on.

Ive always had an issue wirh my confidence and im just naturally reserved shy and quiet. I dnt know how to be more confident....id really like to stay on and start the apprenticeship

Any advice about opening up and having more confidence??
Always presume everyone (customers, colleagues etc.) like you and that way you will be more comfortable

practice speaking loudly in front of you bathroom mirror/ a mirror you dont use often as your bedroom mirror you will be super familair with

if you do it in another mirror it justs works better because if you speak loudly but still a bit shy inside then it will appear as if you are confident
