Could someone help with this qs please, I’ve looked at the solutions and understand that I have to half the triangle, but I don’t understand how to find the length of EF which is root3r/2 using pythag

Because the arc from C through F up to A is part of a circle which is centered at B.

F is just another point on this circle, just like C and A are, so their distances from B are the same.
