LED lights at uni

I’m starting university later in the year and wondered if you’re allowed to put strip led lights around the top of your room? In on site halls
You should ask your uni

Depending on how they are powered, and how you plan to attach them to the wall/furniture, then they might be allowed. Best to ask your accommodation provider just in case.

Would you be more likely allowed them if they’re battery powered or plugged in? Thanks
Most of the time it's fine as long as plug in ones are turned off when you leave, and also anything on the wall has to be attached via command hooks/strips so it doesn't damage the accommodation.

Generally for things like fairy lights, most halls prefer battery-powered ones.
