Film BA

What do you think are the best undergraduate film courses out there, from your personal experience (or maybe a friend’s)? I live in Romania, so I didn’t get the chance to visit any UK university and it’s really hard to find that much information online, especially when many schools are just trying to make themselves sound so much better than they actually are. I’m not sure I should simply trust the Guardian 2020 league table either.

I’m sending my application tomorrow and so far my choices are Westminster (Film), AUB (Film Production), Norwich University of Arts (Film and Moving Image), UWE Bristol (Filmmaking), University of South Wales (Film). Any opinion on any of these courses? I’m looking for a practice based course, but with a bit of theory thrown in there as well since I would love to learn more about film history and analysis
The uni I decided to apply and accept to is UWE Bristol xx
But I don’t think there’s as much history involved in Uwe’s filmmaking course

How long did it take you to get your offer from when you sent off your portfolio?
