French A-Level?

I’m really unsure on what A-Levels I should choose. I am pretty sure that I want to do Maths and Physics. At first I wanted to do Philosophy as it interests me and I’m interested in studying Physics and Philosophy in university maybe? But on second thoughts I’ve decided that the Philosophy A-Level course doesn’t really appeal to me and that I don’t want to study it. So as a third option I was thinking French because I’ve always done well in it and I like it but I’m not sure whether I’d like to do it at A-Level? What is the workload like? How does it differ from French GCSE? Is it a lot harder? Physics and Maths are both quite hard subjects and I don’t want to take on too much more.

I don't do an A-level language, but I do know that a level languages also tend to focus a lot on the country and its culture aswell as the language itself, see if you can ask anyone at your school who does a level language abit about the course
and also if you really do enjoy French, that is a great start!
