Going to uni as a mature student

Hi, im polanning on heading to uni either by 21/22 and wondering whats it like as a mature uni student and people experiences.
I did one year of a degree but dropped out due to not enjoying the degree i was doing ?
Mainly how does the application process work on UCAS etc.

Application form via ucas quite straight forward, just enter grades etc you have got and degree attempted.

I got a reference from my boss at work.

Personal statement I just write about career to date and why interested in course.

The application process is exactly the same as if you were 17 years old applying for Uni. Submit your choices, write a personal statement, go to any interviews.

Presumably you have the grades, so, the PS is arguably the most important element for you.
