I am starting law school in two days... any tips for first year law students??

i have found a link for law express books PDF format if anyone is interested but any advice for first year law students? I am not going to study criminal law in my first year which is a life saver because I never liked criminal law but will be studying tort law, legal methods, contract law, public law and etc.

be the first to take out the recommended textbooks at your library. don’t buy textbooks immediately unless money is no object to you as there may be other textbooks you like better. in practice you don’t *need* that specific text; you just need to know the required material.

if you need accommodation for a disability make an appointment with the disability department asap.

make sure to have a good relationship with your professors and the law school staff cuz they’ll be more likely to help you in the future and you never know when you’re going to need it. do you get any face-to-face atm or is it all online?
