This isn't too important because I obviously don't HAVE to watch TV when I'm at uni but I'm going to be living in halls this year and I was wondering if based off this information: https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-you-need-one/for-your-home/students-aud1 I am already covered as my parents have a TV license that I use and I watch iplayer on my laptop. It's just the third point that confuses me, so does anyone know if I am covered?

I'm pretty sure that the third point means you can watch TV without an aerial (aka on catchup) and as long as your laptop isn't plugged in! You should be fine to watch catch up TV and be covered by your parents as long as its not plugged in - but I doubt they can tell if this is the case
