Biomed in Kings

I am looking at Biomed in Kings. But it is non-accredited. Does it matter if I want to be a Biomed scientist or work in Pharma?

Hi there!

If you want to work as a Biomedical Scientist for the NHS, you will need to complete an accredited degree with a placement year to complete your portfolio and apply for registration with the HCPC.

If you want to work in Pharma, then accreditation isn’t necessary.
If a course isnt accredited it'll be an indicator that that Uni's focus is not 'training NHS lab workers' but training for research roles.
If you want a practical focussed course then go for one thats accredited.
