Geography PhD Experience - fluvial geomorphology
Hi Everyone! I am in the process of applying for a funded PhD which aims to quantify the impact of a species on the geomorphology and hydrology of a river. If anyone has any experience of doing a geography PhD, i'd be grateful for any advice on the following:
- What do expect day to day - how much field/lab work is one expected to do? At what stage in the PhD would you be expected to do this? I am hoping to work remotely and travel down for site visits, but not sure if this is feasible.
- What to expect at interview? any thoughts on potential questions?
