i want to continue doing french through to college and university. does any one know if theres any courses i should take with french in college to help with this

You could be fine using apps like duolingo and in my case I bought regular French BD, Bandes dessinées (Franco-belgian comics) in original language French, and just read through them.
loads to choose from, France calls it “the ninth art form”, Asterix, TinTin all the way to murderous nuns and very exotic content.

I bought a lot of a Belgian “Dilbert” called Gaston LaGaffe, and Professor Sir Tim Berners-Lee always hunkered down at my chalet & read those too. Less ‘tuition’ more ‘cultural appreciation’
