Subject required for pre med

Is it really necessary to study physics in a levels to join pre med later? Can I join pre med only with bio chem and maths?

depends on where you're planning to study, seeing you mention 'pre-med', I'm assuming not in the UK, right? becasuse here you don't do pre-med, but go straight into mediicne after high school/sixth form
in the other countries, I know for the Netherlands sort of pre-med you would need Physics, but if you don't have it, you can make up by a test, so you don't need to take Physics
same for the US as you don't virtually need any specific subjects as you can choose your major after first year of college (Bachelor's) sp the subject choices don't matter
don't know too much about other countries, though
