line of best fits

In chemistry do line's of best fits have to be straight?
Like in the question it says "straw a line of best fit" but the pointed plotted are in a shape of a curved graph. Also in the textbook graphs about rate of reactions have a smooth curve so shouldn't the graph I draw also be smooth even though the question wants a "line"?

A straight line is straight.

Have you ever drawn a line? Isn't a circle drawn with a line? If not, then what is it?
