Accommodation

Hi, I am studying the foundation year and has accepted university residence offer for year 1. Will there be any costs if I decided to give up the residence place, maybe before Aug? Thanks

Depends on what your uni accommodation contract says. Most likely it will be that you will be able to cancel anytime up to a certain date. Then after this date you can cancel but still be charged a certain amount. Most uni's do it of sometime usually in Sept/Oct that you have to cancel by without costing you anything but it all depends on what your uni and what your contract says.

Thanks for the advice. I just afraid I missed something. I read through the instruction and only find that can canel for free any time before move in. So seems this is the policy of most universities. This makes me feel at ease. :smile:
