RVC Biological Sciences

What is the RVC's reputation in Biological sciences? Are they any good or are they nowhere near Unis like UCL? Just deciding between Bristol, Exeter and RVC for Biological sciences, but I'm not very sold on RVC.
It’s a difficult one because the RVC has an incredibly strong reputation in research across the board. The facilities are also exceptional due to the amount of research they do and the funding they get as a result.
All 3 are very good unis, it’s arguable being larger institutions places like Bristol and Exeter may be more beneficial in many ways.
I actually applied to RVC for vet med but the fact it’s in London really put me off along with it being a smaller institution so I felt like socialising opportunities were limited. I’ve since firmed Bristol as it had everything RVC did but also overcame my concerns I had for RVC.
It’s hard to get stats for RVC as it’s like a uni in a uni being part of uni of London. Whereas you know for a fact on paper Bristol and Exeter have good employability opportunities and reputations!

Haha I feel the exact same way! 😂 I'm firming Exeter for sure, but then I'm not sure about insurance. Thing is for Bristol the offer is higher than my offer for Exeter so if I don't achieve exeter's then I'm not achieving Bristol's lol, whereas for RVC I can, but I don't like that it's in London.

RVC is the 95th in Biological sciences in the Complete university guide. 95!! Though yes as u said it's difficult to get stats, but still. Exeter and Bristol are in the top 15
