LSE economics with not ideal GCSE's?

I want to apply to LSE for economics next year. My alevels are maths,fm,economics,psychology and am predicted a*aaa. however it says that you need a minimum of a 6 in english language whereas the school gave me a 5 last year. Unfairly too. I want to know that given how competitive lse is, is it even worth applying with this.thanks
