Foundation year @ MMU

I'm considering doing a foundation year for Biomedical Science at Manchester Met both to refresh my brain for the relevant topics (chemistry in particular) and to sort of get used to the method of teaching at university so I can make the most of it when I start the course. (I have ADHD so i struggle establishing routines that work for me.) I got ABC at A level though so I'm not sure if a foundation year is really targeted towards me? Can anyone advise if it's worth doing the foundation year or if not then is there another way I can prepare myself and adjust to life at Manchester Met.
