Thanks for the info in this thread over the past few months. Its been very helpful
My son got accepted to St John's. Land Economy
TSA 74.9
3 A* Predicted
Offer A*AA
From a comprehensive school.
Didn't open TSR after I got my offer at like 2pm today from Clare College. My TSA score was mediocre so I think my interview carried me. Dropped my phone in shock because I was expecting a rejection.

You're not sure because like you want to choose another uni or because of meeting the entry requirements? I have to haul serious ass to get A*AA from where I am now lol, totally in the mud after my mocks.

Let's hope we can get that drink haha.

I’m not sure because I’m in at Yale which makes me think I might get into Harvard as well, in which case I’ll go there. My offer from Cambs is a ridiculous 43 as well. But I love the course so I’ll definitely come on Open day to check it out and possibly attend come October

Damn congrats. Yale... **** Me. I could never. That's a pretty high offer on IB. Good luck.

anyone knows how strict are the admissions on land economy offer holders? I require A*AA, anyone here have gotten lower than A*AA but still got into land econ? I won't name my college for obvious reasons.

Doubt there will be any lower than that ngl
Pretty sure I'm going to miss my offer at this stage. Just bombed my Maths exam, like proper... Basically relying on the grade boundaries being really low and hopefully being able to scrape an A???? Could have smashed my other 2 subject papers, probably looking at a mid A in those. I'm hoping that my college accepts with 1 grade miss or something. I don't know. I'm so done.
