what a levels for software engineering

i’m in year 11 now and am thinking of being a software engineer. i really enjoy comp sci and think i should do it, i was wondering what a levels i should do to be a software engineer. i would also rather do an apprenticeship than go to uni but idk. thanks
I’d highly recommend maths as it is a requirement for computer science/software engineering at a lot of universities in case you do want to go to university or do a degree apprenticeship. Also, I’d recommend computer science at A Level as it gives you a good insight into fundamental principles such as data structure and algorithms and programming paradigms, especially in the 2nd year
Take a look at the entry requirements for the courses and apprenticeships you may want to apply for.

For example a quick look on Imperial's site for Software Engineering shows:
Minimum entry standards:
Our minimum entry standard for 2022 entry is A*A*A A*AAA overall, to include:

A* in Mathematics
A* A in two other recommended or useful subjects

Computer Science

Physics

Useful subjects:

Even if university isn't your first choice it is probably a good indication of the preferred subjects.
