QUB English student

I am applying to study mathematics in 2022 at Queens University Belfast. I currently live in England, and wanted to know what it is like for an English student studying in Belfast?

Hi I'm a first year at QUB. It's fine, lots of Northern Irish students go home at the weekends certainly in first year. If you find a good society which does stuff at the weekend then it doesn't really matter too much.

Thanks for your response! Are you from England too? I had heard about NI students going home on weekends, which if I were to get an offer would be a main concern for me, especially as I was thinking about QUB for my firm.
