work experience and such for y12 summer

okay so i've had the preliminary Fright of Sixth Form like three times already but it was really bad yesterday bc i was talking to my over achieving ass cousin in the year above who's doing something similar to what i wanna do and i realised that I'm basically not gonna have a social life if i wanna go to the unis i want etc. so sob story aside what type of work experience/internships/shadowing can i do in my y12 summer for compsci (specifically ai (or games ig)), and where would i go about seeking for such experiences? or should i veto this type work experience ting and do something else entirely bc I've heard its kinda hard to find work experience for compsci. is work experience even for sixth formers? WTF IS UCAS ??!?!?!??! idk pls help i just want to have as many supercurriculars as possible

It's hard finding computer science work experience, luckily very few candidates have it. On most personal statements for cs, it's projects you talk about or books you've read (eg:artificial intelligence) you can do an mooc.

A crest award gold or silver (write a report/essay on a project idea and get an award for it plus certificate sent through the post, £10 for silver, £20 for gold)

If this is available in your region, a free cybersecurity course https://www.smallpeicetrust.org.uk/cyberfirst-advanced however most places are gone.
