Tilting Secretive Screens

He knows he shouldn't be quick to judge,
But he can't help feeling suspicious, like there's a grudge.
He's noticed how she hides her screen,
And he can't shake off this feeling like it's all a dream.

He loves her more than words can say,
But doubts and worries won't go away.
He wants to trust her completely,
But her secrecy leaves him feeling uneasy.

He sits and watches, his heart filled with dread
As his girlfriend scrolls through her phone, bowing her head.
He sees the messages, the flirts, and the smiles,
And can't help but wonder if she's been deceiving him for miles.

She's mentioned that she's uncomfortable with his female friends,
But he can't help but feel like this double standard never ends.
She talks to these men, hiding it from his sight
And he can't help but feel like he's losing the fight.

He's seen at least two, but who knows how many more,
Are lurking in the shadows, behind closed doors.
He tries to bring it up, but she always denies,
And he's left with this feeling, this growing sense of lies.

He knows he deserves better, someone who will be true
Someone who won't deceive him, someone who won't make him feel blue.
But for now, he's left with this feeling of despair,
As he watches her tilt her phone, with nothing left to share.
