New medical schools- Portsmouth

I hear through a colleague that they’ve been approved provisionally by the GMC for a 2024 graduate intake.

Also a small piece on their website.

Any other intel? Their aim is allegedly widening local participation- what sort of entry requirements might they set in this case I wonder?

Portsmouth University not being forthcoming with info, do they have to have it in UCAS by Spring?

Some of the consultants at the local hospital have been discussing it (I assume they’ll be faculty). Are you local? I’m really wondering when they have to get it on UCAS. For 2024 has to be this spring/summer I guess!
