Yes. If you study and put in the effort. I jumped from a 5 to a 9 in english lit simply by studying the night before the exam (versus not really studying)

I mostly just worked on my written style by studying exemplar answers. I watched Mr Bruff for content and context, and then learnt a bunch of quotes.
