How do you suggest I revise content for A Level history?

So, I have started revision a few months ago and have been just reading revision guides on Germany, Italy + Britain etc and just writing it down over and over again, but I find it tedious and its quite hard to do it for all the themes for every paper.

How has anyone else been revising for a level history? Any tips or revision tips you suggest for in the exam or in general revision for history?

Thanks.

i do HL IB history so it might be a bit different but what helps me the most is doing past papers under time limits, as i would in an actual exam. finding articles or textbooks and condensing the information further helps me study. also if ur getting burnt out or need a break theres a lot of good documentaries and movies on germany and hitler especially, which have accurate information, statistics and historian perspectives.
