KCL vs Edinburgh for CS

KCL vs Edinburgh for CS

I love the idea of studying in London and even on discover uni, grad salaries for CS are higher for KCL (i know London difference but surely even grads from Scotland are moving to London and other big cities for higher paid work too). Edinburgh's course from what i've read sounds really highly theoretical and it also sounds like they push a lot more self-studying which doesn't sound like it prepares for jobs well. Although Edinburgh is significantly higher in QS rankings for CS and from what i've read they seem to be more popular for FAANG (more specifically Google).

Long term I think I want an SWE job in FAANG and so naturally I want to boost my chances as much as I can. Does anyone know any KCL or Edinburgh CS grads and know what they went on to do?
