Is AS Pure Maths 1 respected as a stand alone A-Level?
I don't think it even exists as a standalone alone qualification. AS Maths in England comprises both pure maths and applied maths (stats and mechanics).
The Pearson Edexcel specification is the most widely used

On it's own an AS in maths isn't especially valuable but might enhance a job CV or university application alongside other achievements.
