Can facial piercings hinder my chance of getting into dentistry?

I'm currently a year 12 studying bio, chem and maths. I've been wanting to get an eyebrow piercing for a really long time but I am wondering if this will hinder my chances of getting into dental school. During the interview and in practice I'd take out the piercing. Would they still notice the piercing scar and think I'm not suitable?
