dofe toilets

my dream unis are some really competitive ones so i’m looking to do dofe gold but maybe silver, but i have ibs. i was wondering if anyone has done dofe with ibs in the past and how you managed, can you leave at any point to go to the toilet? (as i have to go fast when i need to go) how and where did you go to the toilet? i’m not sure ive seen people say to always keep a shovel so i can just go far away somewhere and bury it but i’m also worried about how i’d cover up if we’re not near any woods. i have to go pretty often, sometimes multiple times a day so i’m wondering whether it’s worth me doing it or not or whether it’d be too much of an issue for me.

Hi, I reccommend talking to your DofE organiser for advice as there is not many opportunities to go to the toilet while on the hike however a solution/plan of action to this could potentially be arranged with your organiser.
