Best for which metric?

the best for you is very personal.

what do you consider the pros and cons of each?
what are your priorities in course content? What are your priorities in somewhere to live?

The Guardian publishes some league tables based on student satisfaction and other metrics that might help your decision. I would say that it is about reading things like this but also the uni’s own information, weighting everything up and you deciding what’s best for you. Some people here might be able to give you the pros and cons of one establishment but I imagine few will have direct experience of both. I would strongly recommend Leeds as a place to study

Thankyou
It really depends on what you want to specialise in or where you see your career going.
Leeds is better for medical device research and development for example.
Far better industry links and equipment.

I think both uni courses are accredited by the IMechE, Leeds for sure.
