Hi I was wondering since in the French GCSE speaking the photocard you have to describe is always in black and white so does that mean I can prepare a part of my answer in advance by saying that I don’t like the image because it’s not rich in colour, it’s boring etc or will I not get any marks for that

I don't think that's a good start necessarily, easier to be positive and say who is in the picture, where they are, what they're doing and whether they're happy, then a bit of the background - eg 'sur la photo il y a un groupe d'étudiants assis devant leur college. Ils sont en train de regarder leurs portables et ils ont l'air content parce qu'ils sourient. Derriere eux il y a des vélos et un arbre, et une porte ouverte'
