Confusion about maximum mark in English Literature A Level (Edexcel)

On the Edexcel Pearson website for grade boundaries it says that the max mark for the a level is 300 but when I calculated it it was 220
Paper 1- 60 marks
Paper 2- 40 marks
Paper 3- 60 marks
NEA- 60 marks
I am no dummy but I am sure that these all add up to 220 marks, can anybody fill me in on this as I am feeling quite confused
Hello, only just found this (a tad late, sorry), but it works with mark scaling.

From Edexcel themselves: 'Please be aware that the raw mark total (that achieved by adding together the marks available for
each component as listed in the specification) for most A level and 1 AS component is different to
the subject mark total. The raw marks for each component need to be scaled and then added
together in order to achieve the subject mark.'

This works by scaling the mark from all three papers by 1.5x, but keeping the mark for the coursework the same.

I hope this helps.
