Choice of Admission to A -Level

Hi
I'm in an independent school preparing for GCSE's. I'd like to do A levels in Bio, Chem & Maths, in same school, which demands minimum grade 7 in these subjects. If I don't get this minimum grade, can I go to a state school to do these subjects & can I apply to a state school after receiving my GCSE results?
Thanks

Yes, you can - unless they are very popular, most schools will still be accepting Sisth Form applications right up to the start of term.

Its worth looking at your local schools now to see what GCSE grades they want, and you could also put in an application now - if you are accepted by your own school in August, you would then just cancel the application at the other school.
