i think you mean judgement day , but judgement in general is the act of coming to an agreed decision on conclusion based on comparing several peices of evidence, in terms of christians they believe that every act wether good or bad will be judged by god on the day of judgement/reckoning once god has weighed your deeds (metaphorically) he will decide wether your good enough to go to heaven or not , HOWEVER , some catholic christians beleive in purgatory and that is the space between heaven and hell , if your not bad enough to go to hell but not good enough to go to heaven you would be sent there to repent for your sins until god has decided wether your worthy enough for heaven but this is only for CATHOLICS
