IB vs A level grade requirements
Hi, does anyone who does IB know why Cambridge asks for much higher grades for IB than A level? Not just the overall score but the number of A stars needed at Higher Level, despite the massive workload? Genuinely interested to understand the rationale as most non oxbridge seem to make a more equal comparison.

Perhaps it is because you only specialise in 3 subjects at a time?
Where as A-Levels are more indepth and require 300 hours of study each.Quick Reply
