chinese writing: word limit tolerance???

ive got my chinese writing (edexcel) gcse on friday, and i have a tendency to go over the word limit. is there a point where examiners stop marking because I've written too much? (10,20,30 characters above the limit?)
+any tips to condense my writing would be so helpful tyty

Hello I do aqa and I'm doing it this Friday aswell! As a yr 10 my tips are just to 1 don't waffle go straight to the point. You can use interesting vocab but don't elaborate too much. I don't know how edexcel questions are structured so that's all I can say. Also aqa for example recommends approximately 75 characters for Q1. If you go out by 10 characters not a big deal. Try not to go more than around 10. I don't think they will but they may take a few marks off? Does your exam paper have grids for you to write? If so don't write more than the grids they provide you and always count afterwards to be safe
Hope this helps and good luck xx
