Turnitin?

Anyone else got access to this to check their TMAs? On my module we can use it once per TMA and that’s just started so I used it on my last TMA.

It picked up some stuff but when I checked the report it was basically the title of the TMA which they had detected looked familiar to something someone had posted on course hero and quotes from our textbooks but I had fully referenced.

I’m assuming when the OU and tutors check these through software they use that they don’t just go with the % that is produced showing how similar the TMA is and they actually look at what’s been flagged?

Is there other software we can use since I can only use Turnitin once per TMA?

Just thought I would update this to say, it was my third TMA out of five and achieved a 85% with a high referencing and use of sources score.

So it has confirmed that obviously the tutors must go over what’s flagged and have realised it was the stuff I mentioned above and not plagiarism.
