Applying to Cambridge Engineering with having given Maths a year early

I wanted to ask if there is any significant advantage to giving Maths a year early (and achieving an A*) for applying to Cambridge Engineering for someone doing 4 A-levels? Will it give me an edge over other applicants? Cambridge says on their website they prefer for students to give all their exams in 1 sitting so they can see that the student can handle the workload. I'm also international and have already given my Maths exams if that's relevant.

It will look good on your UCAS application form, as you will have already demonstrated your academic ability in A-Level Maths.

You must sit 3 A-Levels ideally in one sitting, so if you are also taking Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry then you would need to achieve A*AA or even A*A*A depending on the constituent College of Cambridge University that decides to make you an offer!!!
