how do i revise?

i need serious help with revising because i feel like it just never sticks in my brain and im always uninterested in revising. things that work for others like seneca, mindmaps and copying out notes and memorising them doesnt even work for me and its becoming a really big problem and i need help!! i dont learn anything from seneca, and i forget my notes all the time, and the amount of content is overwhelming me. i learn absolutely nothing from mindmaps and i somehow always end up getting distracted, a subject that is supposed to take about 3 hours to study becomes 6 hours and idk how to stop it. also the pomodoro technique and stuff like that dont work for me personally either lol but seriously what can i do??? my teachers have given me revision guides but they are just questions to answer, and i really dont think that will help me learn anything new. i need help asap
