Help I don’t get how they got 0.04 on the ms…
How do we know where/ how far mg is placed
Also if it’s uniform it’s in the middle, but we don’t know the length of the shelf (we just know rod)

0.04 is the distance of the centre of mass of the rod from the pivot. That is where the force of the weight of the rod will be applied.
