What is it like studying at Ucl?
People’s experience would be different depending on their course, community and overall student living. UCL is one of the largest undergrad unis, so the experience is bound to be diverse.
If you are interested in UCL, you should consider different factors including:
1. Do you want a campus-based uni or city-based like UCL?
2. Do you prefer a large student body or small one?
3. Are you comfortable in a fast paced environment?
UCL is not a campus university; its departments are dotted around the city. For example, the Bartlett school of Architecture is based in Stratford, East London, while its science faculty is near Russell Square. Thus, your experience of UCL will vary depending on what course you are studying.
There are lots of pan-univeristy events so you will end up mixing with people in the same geography but who are studying at one of the many London-based unis.
